ARMADA SCOOTERS & ELECTRIC BIKES
TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: August 31, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases from Armada Scooters & Electric Bikes, operated by Armada Trading Ltd. (“Armada,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including purchases made in-store and through our website.

By purchasing or accepting a product from Armada, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

WARRANTY

Limited Warranty

Unless a different warranty is specifically stated for the product at the time of sale, new scooters and electric bikes sold by Armada include a 12-month limited parts warranty from the original date of purchase.

The warranty covers qualifying defects, failures or manufacturing errors in covered components during normal intended use.

Batteries are included under the warranty and are protected against manufacturing defects during the applicable warranty period.

Some products or manufacturers may provide different or additional warranty coverage. Where a different warranty is specifically stated for a product, the warranty applicable to that product will apply.

Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Warranty Parts

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by Armada or, where applicable, the product manufacturer or distributor.

If a component is determined to have failed because of a qualifying manufacturing defect during the warranty period, the defective component may be repaired or replaced.

Replacement parts may be new or functionally equivalent replacement components.

Availability of replacement components may depend on the manufacturer or distributor.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Warranty Labour

Unless specifically stated otherwise with the product, Armada’s warranty is a parts warranty and does not include labour.

The customer is responsible for the installation of replacement warranty parts and any associated labour costs.

Customers may install replacement parts themselves where appropriate or arrange installation through Armada or another qualified repair facility.

If Armada performs the installation or repair and labour is not covered under the applicable warranty, Armada’s normal labour charges will apply.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, consumable components or failures resulting from improper use or care.

Examples of items normally excluded from warranty coverage include:

Tires and inner tubes;
Brake pads and brake cables;
Brake adjustments;
Chains and belts;
Normal battery capacity degradation;
Cosmetic scratches or damage;
Routine adjustments and maintenance; and
Other components that wear through normal use.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage or failure resulting from:

Accident, collision or impact;
Abuse, misuse or neglect;
Incorrect use;
Improper care or maintenance;
Improper storage;
Water damage, flooding or submersion;
Corrosion;
Overloading the vehicle;
Improper charging;
Use of an incorrect or incompatible charger;
Unauthorized repairs;
Electrical modifications;
Motor or controller modifications;
Speed modifications or removal of factory speed restrictions;
Installation of incompatible parts or accessories;
Racing, stunt riding or other unintended use; or
Continued operation after a problem becomes apparent where continued operation causes additional damage.

Modification of a vehicle does not automatically exclude an unrelated component from warranty coverage; however, damage or failure caused or contributed to by the modification is not covered.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Battery Warranty

Batteries are protected against qualifying manufacturing defects during their applicable warranty period.

Battery range and capacity naturally decrease over time and with use. Normal reduction in battery capacity or riding range resulting from age, charging cycles and normal use is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Battery damage or failure resulting from improper maintenance, charging, storage or care is not covered.

Customers are responsible for following the charging and storage instructions supplied with their vehicle and battery.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Making a Warranty Claim

Customers experiencing a possible warranty issue should contact Armada before performing repairs or replacing components.

Armada may request:

Proof of purchase;
Vehicle model;
VIN or serial number;
Description of the problem;
Photographs;
Video demonstrating the problem; and/or
Inspection of the vehicle or component.

Warranty coverage will be determined after the issue has been assessed.

Customers should not continue operating a vehicle if doing so could cause additional damage or create an unsafe condition.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
30-Day Return Policy

Products may be returned within 30 days of purchase or receipt provided they meet the conditions below.

To qualify for a return:

The product must be in new condition;
The product must show no visible signs of wear or use;
All original components and accessories must be included; and
The product must be returned in its original product packaging.

Returned products are subject to inspection before a refund or exchange is approved.

Products that have been ridden, used, damaged, modified or show signs of wear do not qualify as new-condition returns.

Approved returns may be exchanged for another product, issued as store credit, or refunded to the original method of payment.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning products to Armada.

Original shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable once the shipping or delivery service has been performed.

If Armada arranges return transportation on behalf of the customer, the applicable return shipping cost may be deducted from the customer’s refund or exchange value.

Customers shipping products themselves are encouraged to use tracked and appropriately insured shipping.

Refunds and exchanges are processed after the returned product has been received and inspected.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

SHIPPING DAMAGE

Customers should inspect their product and packaging when it is received.

If shipping damage is discovered, customers should photograph or video:

The exterior packaging;
Any damaged packaging;
The product before removing all packaging where possible; and
Any damage to the vehicle or product.

Customers should then contact Armada as soon as possible.

Where shipping damage can reasonably be corrected by replacing damaged components, Armada may resolve the matter by supplying replacement components rather than replacing the entire vehicle.

Shipping damage does not automatically qualify a vehicle for replacement or refund where the damage can reasonably be repaired.

Customers should contact Armada before refusing a shipment, as refusing a shipment may result in additional transportation or return shipping charges.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

PRODUCT USE & SAFETY
Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws and regulations governing the operation of their vehicle.

Different electric scooters, electric bikes, mopeds, motorcycles, mobility products and off-road vehicles may be subject to different requirements.

Depending on the vehicle and jurisdiction, requirements may include licensing, registration, insurance, helmets, minimum operator ages, equipment requirements and restrictions on where the vehicle may be operated.

Armada does not guarantee that every vehicle sold is permitted for operation on public roads, sidewalks, bicycle paths or trails in every jurisdiction.

Customers are responsible for determining where and how their vehicle may legally be operated.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Vehicle Maintenance

Electric vehicles require regular inspection and maintenance.

Customers are responsible for maintaining their vehicles and following the applicable manufacturer’s maintenance instructions.

Before operation, riders should regularly inspect important safety components including brakes, tires, wheels, steering, lights and controls.

A vehicle should not be operated where a known mechanical or electrical problem may make continued operation unsafe.

Damage resulting from failure to properly maintain the vehicle is not covered by warranty.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

PERFORMANCE & RANGE

Any advertised speed, range, charging time or other performance figure represents an estimate under particular operating or testing conditions.

Actual results may vary depending on factors including:

Rider weight;
Passenger or cargo weight;
Terrain;
Hills;
Riding speed;
Acceleration;
Temperature;
Wind;
Tire pressure;
Battery condition;
Battery age;
Battery charge level; and
Vehicle maintenance.

Advertised range or speed should therefore not be interpreted as a guarantee of identical performance under all riding conditions.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Armada makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, specifications and pricing.

Manufacturers may make changes to components, specifications, colours or production without prior notice.

Actual products may therefore have minor differences from photographs or descriptions displayed on our website.

Armada reserves the right to correct obvious typographical, specification or pricing errors.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

SERVICE & REPAIRS

Inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair services that are not covered by warranty are subject to Armada’s applicable service and labour charges.

A diagnostic charge may apply for determining the cause of a problem.

If an inspection determines that the problem is not covered by warranty, the customer will be responsible for applicable diagnostic, labour, parts and repair costs.

Armada may provide an estimate before proceeding with additional repairs.

Additional problems discovered during diagnosis may require further customer authorization.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

MODIFICATIONS

Customers are responsible for modifications made to their vehicles after purchase.

Modifying the battery, motor, controller, wiring, speed settings or other electrical or mechanical systems may affect the safety, reliability and legal classification of the vehicle.

Damage or failure caused or contributed to by a modification is not covered under warranty.

Customers are responsible for determining whether any modification affects the legal operation, registration or insurance requirements of their vehicle.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Armada is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, unlawful operation or operation contrary to applicable manufacturer instructions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any right, remedy or protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable Canadian or British Columbia consumer protection law.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Armada may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to a purchase will generally be those in effect at the time of the transaction, subject to applicable law.
